In May of 2018, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I completed and graduated with my Master’s in Social Work in May of 2019. I am currently seeking licensure as a Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Dr. Kate Morrissey-Stahl. In addition, I have obtained a certificate as a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist.
I work from an integrative approach to serve clients in a capacity that best meets their personal needs. I practice from a feminist and person-centered lens and truly believe that the client is the expert of their own experience. I primarily specialize in grief and loss, but I am also available to work with clients seeking support through various life changes.
As a rule, society places constructs on how we should live, grieve, cope, or move through the world as whole. As we develop a therapeutic relationship, I hope we can explore and expand your definition of what your life can be, starting with the strengths that already exist within you! You are never “too much” or “too broken.” We all have the capacity to heal and find peace. I would love to help you get started.
I am currently seeing clients via telehealth and in person. You can contact me at amlambsw@gmail.com
